Almost 400 South Koreans have been allowed to cross the border into North Korea to meet relatives they have not seen since the 1950-1953 Korean War.Those selected in a lottery style selection process, nearly 400 South Koreans gained an opportunity to meet with long lost relatives that many had not seen for a staggering 65 years. The two Koreas who are still technically in a war agreed to hold family reunions for the first time since February of last year. Families separated since the war have no means of communication. A second round of family reunions is expected to take place starting October,24.
